How do I know what internet speed package I need?

Why are different internet speeds available in different areas of your service territory?
Some areas within our service territory do not yet have fiber-optic infrastructure, which can limit the internet speeds available in specific neighborhoods. Our Service Availability map allows you to see the internet speeds offered at a specific address.

When will fiber be available in my neighborhood?
Each construction season, we continue expanding NVC fiber to new addresses. When fiber becomes available in your neighborhood, you’ll hear from us by postcard. In the meantime, you can let us know you’re interested in NVC services by submitting an inquiry here: https://nvc.net/residential/inquire/
Will my internet work just as well if I buy my own Wi-Fi router?
You can use your own Wi-Fi equipment, but many customers find it expensive and difficult to manage. We recommend NVC Managed Wi-Fi so our technicians can professionally set up and support your home Wi-Fi network.
